History
Alan
Helps founded Alan Helps Cleaning in July 1995, starting off with sub
contracting work and some window cleaning services. With a mission to
provide straightforward, honest, quality & loyal services.
Alan soon had repeat business and started to build
a network of clients along with a team.
As the company gained a network of satisfied clients, Alan learnt that his company could deliver a service
much higher than others whilst offering quality in service was definitely
unique to its competitors. Therefore offering
a better product.
The
company, now using profits- earned working hard over the previous years, wanted to get a better position in the
market, knowing what an attractive unique service it could offer, therefore a
marketing campaign to drum up new business commenced.
By 2000
the company had grown substantially, there had been a consistent growth for 5
years including an impressive 100% growth every year - for 4 years! Over these
years Alan had also managed to build a small fleet of vehicles for the company
along with specialist machines and tooling. By now the company was offering a
large array of services and with larger organizations, such as local authority
and retail chains…

Working his own way through the company as it expanded. Alan has
a complete understanding of how, where, what and why things work. This
knowledge was priceless when setting up a management team, Alan continues to work
with his management team to deliver high quality service.
This also gave him the opportunity to take a step back
from the business and reflect on the essential core needs and how the business
could move forward.
A testament in its’ own right - 2005 saw the company
celebrating 10 years in the industry; with the re-vamp of the website, new logo
and branding.
2005 also saw the company relocate to it’s new larger premises,
with improved office space, ability to now offer in house training, whilst
being a lot closer and central to their
clients.
The company now prides itself on a smoothly run operation
for their clients with scheduled management of sites and regular client contact.
